[ so a few hours after investigation is good and over, katara is going to be sitting on the beach... away from where the body parts were found since. you know. she's on the sand, her legs spread out so that the tide brushes against her feet.

it's a scene that looks pretty calm, but if someone wanders close enough they'll see that her actual facial expression is still as angry as it was back at the gathering with hal. yeah she's still mad. ]

[It's impossible for Bellamy to calm down, too, but by the time he spots Katara on the sand, he's at least gotten his emotions somewhat under control. All it takes is one look at his face for him to cross the beach and sit down next to her, not even bothering to ask.]

We need to keep this from happening again.

[And hi, by the way.]

We do. Just... waiting for the weekend isn't enough.

[ haru was so... nice. katara was supposed to meet up with her again to just chat, and they never got to. ]

And we can't let whoever killed her walk free.

[jettisons]

[They're on the same page, then. He thinks.]

The robots want us to execute whoever did it. Are you willing to let that happen?

[seaclipsed]

I don't want to do anything they tell us to.

[ just being forced to participate in this at all is killing her. ]

I'd prefer to jail whoever did it. Executing them is... [ it's still just killing. ] And we'll also have to find out why they did it in the first place. Did Hal force them to because no one else was stepping up? Or... something.

[jettisons]

Hal isn't going to let us jail anyone.

[And besides, Bellamy doesn't exactly want Haru's killer hanging around, but he doesn't say it.]

It wouldn't be hard for them to convince someone to do it.

They were always confident that it was going to happen which means they probably have ways to make sure it does. It would probably help if we knew what they were, but...

[ they've been pretty vague so far. katara isn't sure if they'd answer unless you have a murder in mind. ]

[jettisons]

But we don't know anything, and the people who have been assigned roles aren't talking.

[seaclipsed]

It doesn't surprise me that they aren't. Depending on what role it might be, it could potentially make them a target.

[ and yet, despite saying she understands, she still sounds annoyed by not knowing. ]

[jettisons]

[Bellamy shakes his head. He gets it, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.]

There's no way we get out of here unless we found out more. Have you heard anything?

Nothing actually helpful, no. I think everyone is still at the stage where they're trying to figure out what to do.

[ she knows that she is. ]

[jettisons]

We can turn that into an advantage.

[Maybe. He hopes.]

We just need to keep working together. We can do this.

[seaclipsed]

Yeah. Even if people end up fighting, as long as we're all still willing to work together to figure things out, we'll be okay.
