It seems like our dead friends sent us some gifts. It has to be talking about Vriska. Zuko was accusing her pretty adamantly last trial, right?

How'd you get a letter from a dead person? [He sounds suspicious af, but looking at the letter... He's too much of a moron to be able to tell any difference in how people he never got to know talk. Seems... somewhat legit.] And how do you know this isn't a trick?

Those two idiots could give you anything. And those dead idiots could tell you what you want to know.

Even if she's a Siren--how the hell do we get everyone else to vote for her? And why does she think she's "saving" people?

How am I supposed to know? I don't know how this place works. But... I think this is really him. Joshua, I mean. And I don't think he'd want to trick me. If us beating the game is what will get all of us out of here, and since he didn't have a role, trying to sabotage us would just work against him, right?

[ she had talked to joshua long enough to get that his reason for dislike the game is different than everyone else's, mostly. it's part of the reason why she was so insistent that joshua had to have been killed because he was smart and had past experience with things like this. ]

And I don't know about that either. It's not like I've spoken to her about this. We'll have to build a case against her at the trial.

Tch. Why don't we just kill her before the trial? Or during it?

I don't know if killing them in the trial is smart. Neku killed Serph last week. What if this week we couldn't figure something out. We could have executed Serph, but we can't now.

I told them that playing that stupid game wouldn't get them anything because they didn't do it right! And that keeping Serph wasn't gonna work out because it didn't work out for Battler! They won't tell us anything. That's how those two robomorons want it.

So they wasted two games and now we're supposed to wait to find out something from that crazy horned demon? Yeah right! Give me a break. You think they're gonna stop murdering to win this game just because they feel sorry for us! Tch.

Even if we vote for them, one of us is gonna have to do the killing. If it isn't right to kill to begin with, how're you gonna say it's right to be an exectioner?

I didn't say it's right. But at least you're not basically torturing the person while they're dying! You've seen what those bodies look like, and we know they're alive throughout the entire thing. Killing them during execution isn't right, but you know it's not on the same level as that.

[ since, you know, people tend to go for quick and painless deaths for executions. ]

Let's say that we do go and kill Vriska. If anyone had found my bottle before I did, then they would have seen the note. It wouldn't put two and two together for them to figure it out, and I'd be the obvious suspect. You know they wouldn't pass on choosing us for execution just because she was a Siren.

[He gives a great, frustrated huff.]

I never said I was going to torture someone! That's a waste of time! Just kill them outright!

[His ears flatten.] It wouldn't be you they'd throw on the chopping block. It'd be your friend, Zuko. Matter of fact, they might do something stupid like that anyway.

You can't just kill them outright, or it won't count. Hal said that he requires either a really bloody death or a high body count, so you have to either torture them or kill a lot more people than just her.

Maybe. But probably because he was running his mouth so much about Vriska. And who knows if the Sirens convinced anyone else to join them. It could be three against thirteen for all we know.

If there's no evidence, how're we gonna get everyone else to vote for her at the trial? If you say anything, you'll be dead next because they'll think you know something.

This is stupid.

People got everyone to vote for others with really flimsy reasoning before. Look at what happened with the Jacks. All of that happened just because of a list Lelouch wrote based on his personal opinion, and because one of the Jacks had no alibi. But the only reason he didn't have that is because his partner ditched him.

[ so, it's not really enough to condemn someone to death. ]

Yeah well, they're probably stupid enough to do it again, but if they're not--then what? Everyone will just end up voting for one of us because they'll think we're trying to start something.

But I guess Zuko is right. She's digging her own grave with how she's talking. Some of her stuff doesn't add up. Once she's gone--how many are left?

And what happens if we get rid of them and then the game doesn't end?

There's five of them, and we officially caught two so far, with Serph and Battler. If Vriska is one, then that means there's only two left.

You really do like asking questions that I don't know the answer to. If the game doesn't end, then... we'll have to find another way to end it. But just because there's a possibility it won't work out, doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Fine. But it's stupid to just waste time on something that won't help in the end.

So it'd just give the Sirens more time to kill other people. Besides, the Sirens don't seem to be the only ones killing, right?

One of those morons said some of the killings weren't role related. That means someone is doing what I said we should do in the first place! Or the Sirens have other people on their side.

Can't we just ask one of those two idiots privately to give us something that would help?

Do you think they would? They don't seem to be really helpful. And they've already left all those weapons, which is what they probably think is "helping"...

If you tried killing one of them during the trial, there's also the possibility that you might die too. Remember what happened with Neku?

Ugh! This is ticking me off! I can't do anything because you won't let me, or those punks set something sketchy up to make it unfair! We're all just basically waiting to die. We might as well just kill each other and get it over with!

What the hell else are we supposed to do? Kill Vriska with some stupid trial and then wait for three more of us to die next week?

We're going to catch them. I'm sure other people got letters too, which means the others have information that might point at other Sirens. If we're lucky, maybe they'll find out who the remaining two are.

Sure. That's what the others say every trial, and then three people die because they're stupid and can't make up their mind! There was almost forty of us, and now there's only sixteen!

I don't care what you say! I can't just stand around while some bozos think they can sneak around at night and cut people into bite-sized pieces!

I don't want to just stand around either! It... it makes me feel sick, thinking how powerless I've been this entire time while these monsters get what they want!

[Inuyasha can at least relate to being frustrated over the powerlessness of the game. His whole countenance softens just slightly.] The point of their stupid game is to hurt people.

Vriska isn't going to tell us anything at the trial. Nothing we wanna know. Those two buffoons probably said they'd kill her if she did. If we vote for her, we won't know a damn thing.

We should try making her talk first.

I remember Prussia saying she agreed with Zuko about Vriska being suspicious, so we can probably get her to agree with us when it comes to that.
