[ early on thursday morning, katara is going to trudge through the snow to knock on hiro's door. the letter she received the day before is tucked carefully in her pocket. ]

Hiro? Are you in there?

[ she really hopes so?? she does not mind the blizzard bringing in snow as much as other people but man it sure is annoying to travel in without the proper clothing. ]

I think I can ask Yona to tell Nanashi. They're kind of friends and he might listen to her.

[Hm.] Hey, Katara. Do...you think Jinah even knows? I mean hear me out about this. Yona and I work pretty well together, but I've been keeping a lot of secrets from her, too. What if it's the same here?

... I wouldn't be surprised. When Vriska was telling me about Jinah, she sounded very... fond? So I wouldn't be surprised if she's keeping something that big from her, even if it's just to protect her.

[ if that's the case then katara feels really bad for jinah. the reveal is going to be pretty terrible. ]

That makes me wonder what she has shared with her though. [ ... ] I can try reaching out to her, and see what happens.

Vriska's like...she's kind of intense and weird and maybe a little insane, but I think she still does care about people. As much as she can, anyway. And we know Jinah's defensive of Vriska so I can only imagine they've talked and bonded or whatever, so...
